Like stepping back in time. An interval with ladies selling ice creams and even a chance to go to the bar!Some people think the Paramount is a dated, red-velvet relic. Such people go to modern multi screens with chewing gum on the carpets, no parking, couldnt-care-less staff and unaccompanied children running amok. I prefer the quaint surroundings, attentive staff and civilised experience to be found in Penistone. No gangs of chatty youths with laser pens in this cinema. If there was the management would deal with them to the satisfaction of decent people.
Old Fashioned Film, set in sheffield, very well edited, very enjoyable to watch, complete with special effects.
