Very friendly and inviting traditional pub. Lovely real fire and warm welcome. 6 handpulls, Taylors Landlord, Black Sheep Best Bitter and Tetley Trad as standard plus 3 guest beers, 2 of which are sorced from within 20 miles giving the pub the Barnsley CAMRA "Locale" award. Fun quiz night on Tuesday and open mic Wednesday nights. Food served Sunday afternoon / early evening.
